Emmy Rossum attended The American Museum of Natural History Museum Dance sponsored by Lilly-Pulitzer with a really fresh-but-elegant face. Below are some suggestions for recreating the look.
How to achieve Emmy Rossum’s Makeup Look: Whatever foundation you use, make sure it is as close to your skin tone as possible. Do not use any powder unless you’re using a powder foundation. Skip blush, or use only a very pale pink. Ditto for your lips, clear gloss is the best way to go when the focus is on the eyes. And the focus is very, very much on the eyes. Use a black pencil eyeliner to line to top of your lids as close to possible to the lashline as possible. Then use a pale gray shadow to give your entire eyelid a pale wash of color. Extend it only a little further than your crease. Go in with a highlighter (a stick or just a highlighter shadow) in a pale white or pink/cream and highlight under your browbone, then the full area of your inner eyes, above and blow the eye. Finally, use a darker gray shadow to accentuate the crease in your eyelid. Blend well. Mak ... Read More

I found a TON of amazing designer shoes on sale at ShopTheShoeBox.com. Celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Jessica Parker and Leighton Meester have all bought shoes from them. I got so excited and busy trying to find the shoes that I forgot to save all the links to the pages, but since I’m sure all of you SMART girls use Firefox, just go to edit: FIND and type in the name of any shoe name when you’re on the sale page and you’ll find it if it’s still available. Debating the wonderful-ness of Zooey Deschanel, or Zooey Deschanel’s style is a moot point. She is stylish without trying to be, because she’s always been 1/3 awkward but she never fails to be charming.
It doesn’t help that she’s one of the few famous people who not only wear vintage clothing often, but who really seems to wear it because it’s who she is, and not just because a stylist said “here, this will look good”. Zooey Deschanel doesn’t need a stylist. If anything, she is giving out style tips. Not personally, or anything. But we can certainly observe. I loved what she wore to perform for She & Him at Coachella.

When I’ve watched episodes of The Hills, I used to only like Whitney Port. I never really watched her reality spin-off The City, because I’m just not that into reality TV unless it’s a Saturday afternoon. Anyway, Whitney is still pretty likable as far as reality TV personas can go.
I especially like her first day of Coachella outfit as seen here. It’s very Hippie-esque. I’m sure the brunette girl to the left - holding the cigarette and wearing the predictable gladiator sandals - is vapid and boring. But Whitney at least looks like she’d have something interesting to say.
Her hair is cute, and I like that she even changed it into a braid. I’m not sure if she really has a star tattoo on her shoulder, but it’s cool even if she drew it on. The black bandeau top and high-wasted shorts are great because they’re sort of awkward. The flats are a surprising touch, and I really like them. The modern accessories and purse are also right on theme. I think this is a very hip outfit to be seen in, unless you’re at a funeral.
Mad by Design is the company that makes Mad Bags & Ecototes. Now, Mad Bags have emphasis on what is decorative, featuring bags, purses and wallets with gab-worthy designs and unique elements like shells, taffeta silk, animal-friendly leather, and even bamboo. Ecototes is a different because it has an emphasis on the function of a bag. These canvas totes, travel bags, key fobs, shopping bags, cell phone holders, and luggage karts have a handful of different colorful designs which range from fleur de lis to polka dot). What’s remarkable about Mad Bags and Ecototes is how reasonably priced they are. Considering some of these designs, you’d expect to pay more if you wanted to own one. I fear I may have gone overboard in sharing with you my favorite picks, but it’s so hard to only choose a few – there are so many that I could easily see myself holding and loving.Favorite Picks:
