Cute little Tater Pots at Urban Outfitters, photo by maveric2003 on Flickr
Urban Outfitters is a great, hip, store. But it’s pricey, too. Ergo, we shop the Urban Outfitters sales! What do I look for when I see the rows of items with an urban outfit discount? That’s easy! Items you can still incorporate to your wardrobe right now, items you’ll wear next season, items drastically marked down, things you’ll always need (you wear a bra daily, yes?) – stuff like that. Good ol’ Urban outfit stocks plenty of great things – like the tater pots you see above! If there’s an Urban Outfit outlet near you, I highly suggest you get thee to it. Make sure you check out urban outfit discount code sites.

Sunday, October 11th, 2009
Lucky Magazine recommends the above Wool Felt Hat from Macys, which costs $44. Well, I say NO to that. We can find a good fall that that is stylish and less expensive. I’ve worked hard to find you other hat suggestions, all under $40, but mostly under $20. Floppy hats are great, but cloche hats are something I think that will be even more popular. The pro to a floppy hat? You can kind of hide your face under them more – but are you a celebrity who needs to hide? I don’t know. The con to a floppy hat? They will lose their shape more easily. You have to treat it like a newborn puppy and give it a spot of its own to live – no flopping it in with a stack of winter scarves.

“What Kind of Jacket Should I Wear for Fall?”
Thursday, October 8th, 2009
Fall is a wonderful time, especially (in my opinion) if you live in an area where the leaves turn gorgeous colors of red and purple, you can visit apple orchards, pick your own pumpkin from a patch if you’re so inclined, and wear some cozy cardigans. The one thing that sometimes baffles me about Fall is what kind of jacket to wear. It’s waaaay too early for heavy winter jackets.
My answer to the question is the same answer to “What kind of jacket do I wear for Spring?” and that answer is: trench coats! I especially like the longer, belted trench coats. There are a surprising amount of variations, though. Even more surprising? There are plenty trench coats under $50.00, yay.
Fun Wallets to Enjoy Like the Rockstar You Are
Wednesday, October 7th, 2009
I’ve put together a grouping of seven different fun wallets for you to peruse whilst (do I sound British?) you procrastinate about doing work, or homework, or those sorts of things that you inevitably have to do. Speaking of, I have dishes to unload from the dishwasher… Eh. But maybe I’ll just keep shopping online. It feels, somehow, much MUCH more rewarding.
From rubber, plaid, cats or owls – I’ve got you covered when it comes to the funkiest wallets under $50.00.
Item: Clubhouse Plaid Wallet from Zappos $31.00
Kiss closures at the top of wallets are my favorite kind, they’re so easy to use when I’m out shopping for more stuff. The plaid has enough pink in it to look cutsey.
Summer Dresses on Sale

"Time to shoooop?" asks cutie cat. Photo by StephenMitchell on Flickr
Since Fall is here, stores are rushing to get their summer dresses off the shelves completely. That works out in your favor. Because the only thing that’s more refreshing than cute summer dresses is cute summer dresses on sale. Obviously it’s best to avoid anything trendy, which can be tricky. If you’ve been eying something all season and it’s finally on sale you will feel a strange (okay, maybe it’s not so strange) and strong pull to pick it up now that it’s at a reduced price.
However, keep in mind that this was what you loved, and saw on other people, this season. Style Tip: Make sure to honestly ask yourself if it was a passing trend that you might not be wearing next year.
To eliminate confusion I suggest focusing on summer dresses that are basic – something with a cute color and good fit at a better price than you’d normally find. I’ve rounded up five dresses summer dresses ... Read More

Lauren Conrad
Lauren Conrad has left The Hills and now she’s pursuing her dream of fashion with her LC Lauren Conrad line at Kohl’s. Even when the show was annoying me, I always could find a compliment for Lauren’s style. Those little braids in her hair? Did you never try to replicate those? Come on, now!
Anyway, I decided I’d shop at Kohl’s online and tell you guys what I think is worth buying. It’ll let you see what’s available and what you might want to avoid. My overall review of this line is that it is modern and cute with lots of great basic’s made by a gal who knows simple fashion tricks that work.
