Luckily, tassel necklaces have different varieties, so you can still show off your personal style with them (because no one wants you to be a clone, especially not me). Wear tassel necklaces long and large, if possible. A good, iconic tassel necklace is something you can wear several days a week and you will never be sick of it.

How do you wear a tassel necklace? Good question! (Don’t you love when your curiosity is rewarded like that? I do.) Because these are so bold, such statement necklaces in their own way you can pair them with knits (knit dresses, knit sweaters) and heavy sweaters (sweaterdresses, bulky sweaters that you always think about throwing out). The long length of a tassle necklace will draw the eye down vertically, so pretty much the worst thing you could do is try to wear some sort of striped top. Vertical stripes will compete with it and horizonal stripes will confuse people. Necklaces can be a little tricky here, scoop necks, boat necks, v-necks…pretty much any of these can work depending on the material of your top. V-necks are the easiest sort of top to pair tassel necklaces with though, in my opinion. This is because the necklace makes sort of a ‘V’ shape.

You’re on your own in deciding between a gold tassel necklace or silver tassel necklace. I have too many decisions to make in life as it is!

As it gets colder you might think you’d have to rule them out of your wardrobe, huh? Wrong. For one, they’re great to wear to places where you know you’ll be getting overheated (or even at home if you’re always too hot). For two, if you pair a fitted henley shirt or long sleeved shirt under them, you can wear them through all of fall and winter.

Jewelry for kimono sweaters? Aside from pairing a kimono sleeve sweater with a henley top I believe you can totally go overboard with jewelry. It can be boho chic or boho luxe. Wear earrings for sure – the bigger the better. Bracelets are great if you’re not wearing the top under the kimono sweater, but otherwise I’d go without bracelets and focus on rings and then either statement necklaces or a bundle of tiny necklaces piled onto your neck.

What else do you wear with a kimono sweater? Right now skinny jeans and leggings are hot, and if you pair those with a kimono sweater those look great because it’s such a great balance of proportions. But you can wear jeans or pants of any kind, really. If you go for the skinny leg look you can show off your newest winter boots or shoebooties.

Why wear a kimono sweater? What I like about kimono sleeve sweaters is how comfy they are – they’re so roomy to move around in. They also add variety to your wardrobe.
