The Amazon kindle is great because it’s as thin as a magazine but it can hold 1,5000 books (which is more than my bookcases hold). Apparently the kindle has no glare like most screens have, and it even has a super long battery life. Still, wouldn’t you miss holding the weight of a book? This has to be great for tech people or people who travel a lot.

Moon in my Room @ Amazon $18.69. This is a great Christmas gift for kids or teens. It comes with a remote control, an audio CD that gives you a tour of the moon and it comes to life showing you the 12 cycles of the moon. You can put it on your wall and when the lights are off it lights up. It’s great for space themed rooms, or kids interested in science. This would be a smart way to get kids excited about bedtime, too. We’ve come so far from having just sticker stars on the ceilings! This is one of the best-selling gifts on Amazon.

This is even the exact massager that Andy gives to Nancy in an episode of Weeds. I believe Samantha also has it in Sex and the City. Tin Man DVD (Two-Disc Collector’s Edition) (2007) ON SALE $8.49: This epic fantasy adventure stars sweetheart Zooey Deschanel. It is completly magical and I ADORED watching this and a second-watch is a must. “Tin Man is a modern science fiction update of L. Frank Baum’s timeless “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.”

Heroes Season One on DVD ON SALE $36.99: Season one of Heroes is the best season the show has ever had. Own it and watch as we save the cheerleader, then the world. Bonus: Zach Quinto being amazing, Milo Ventimiglia being hot…

Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie (Widescreen) (1996) ON SALE $12.49: The perfect Christmas gift for your snarky friend. This is a cult classic show about a man and three robots who heckle horrible movies while trapped in space.  No, really. And it’s AMAZING. People love this show for good reason. I’ve seen this movie version and it’s great.

Roswell DVDs Seasons 1-3 (1999) ON SALE $41.99 & Ships FREE: Oh man, back when the WB was still a TV network, this was one of those perfect teenage shows. Many people in their 20′s have fond memories of this show. What’s not to like? Hot aliens! It has Emilie de Ravin who is quickly becoming popular with the Twilight crowd, but you’ll recognize from Lost as well. The show also stars Shiri Appleby (who has a new show on The CW this winter), Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy), Brendan Fehr, Majandra Delfino and Jason Behr. Push play, hear Dido and relive the memories. Great for teens who’ve never seen the show, or people who were rabid fans back in the day. Oh, nogstalgia.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (1988) ON SALE  $12.99: Are you a child of the 80′s? Then I bet you remember watching this on PBS. It’s got the best cheesy effects, but the movie is sacred like this. It’s wonderful. I have such good memories of it.

Queen of Outer Space (1958): This is a movie with Zsa Zsa Gabor and it is endlessly cheesy and ridiculous. Which is why I love it. If you want to get your friend kind of a geeky, silly, prank gift? This is awesome. It’s been called, “A must for all B-movie fanatics” (Video Movie Guide)
