Here’s what was in my box o’ wonders… (Disclaimer: I got it free to review it.)

Shapeology Burn Blend – Is it a caffeine pill? I don’t know. What I do know is that they said to take 2 at once, and I did. And then I felt like I was truly drugged in a bad way. I was shaking for at least an hour! And even with food in my stomach! I felt unsteady and horrible. But every body composition is different, and what doesn’t work for me might work for you. That’s why samples are a fun idea. I’m sad that this doesn’t come in a solid pill form I could halve, because a low amount might do me good. I just  never want to be that jittery again! (It wasn’t even a productive jittery! It was a ‘help-i-can’t-stop-shaking’ jittery.)

Gu Chomps – Even with a strawberry flavor, I thought these tasted sour and “off” and more than that…I felt no increased energy after eating 4 of them (as instructed.) Disappointment!

Eat Green Tea – Moo. It’s …grass, so you feel like a cow. A well-fed cow, at least. (Cows are adorable, why does anyone ever tip them? Don’t do that.) I may not love it, but I’d eat it because of the benefits of green tea. (Lifehacker link to 11 benefits.)

Power Ice – This is a frozen bar, like a freeze pop. It’s good for post-workouts, when you need to hydrate. The lime flavor is okay. It gives you electrolytes. Personally, I’ll stick with water because I didn’t feel any difference.

Thera-Gesic – Pretty good at relieving pain and sore muscles. Not as good as a massage, but what is?

Power Fuel – FIVE HUNDRED STARS! This is the only thing in the box that I would repurchase. But the thing is, I really want to get more. I loved this. They recommend 1 or two packets into 8 oz of water. Well, I used just one packet several times…. but listen, the taste of “Electric Blue Raspberry” isn’t awful (kind of a raspberry/blackberry mix…) and it gives you sustained, powerful energy. It delivers on its promise! I hate most coffee, so this is kind of perfect for me. It’s by Twin Lab. This is the only product I’m putting up a direct Amazon link to: Here you go $24.92 OR Here for the same powder formula in grab-n-go sticks $15.07. (The latter will be messy and annoying but you do save a few bucks.)

The mumbo jumbo of why it works… (I doubt they appreciate me calling it that, but psh!)

Final Notes:

The orange box comes with motivation written on the box, and inside. I liked that. I liked getting to try little samples of different products, and the one winner I found I like a LOT. And I never would have discovered it otherwise. I actually would recommend this to someone who is serious about weight loss options and staying motivated. (Getting this every month is a great motivator.) I’d just say your expectations should be low, because you have no idea if any of the products will work for you or not. I think it’s good that a company like Bulu Box is around.

I also really like the Bulu Box website and blog posts, here are a FEW of my favs…

  • Figuring out your fitness personality: click

I happen to love swimming (and water in general) which I think might be a little because my feng shui birth sign is a water one, and my sun sign is also about water… so, who knows.

Also? I love the idea of ballet and kickboxing. The former because I love the idea of being graceful and I love me a good period movie about a duchess or princess… and the latter because I always wanted to be Buffy!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
