Reviews Bach’s Rescue Remedy Pet: Natural Stress Relief For Pets
I was so excited to get to try Bach’s Rescue Remedy for cats, as there’d been a time I’d almost bought some for my cats and then wavered. I’d gone with another product…one which didn’t work worth squat. And then I felt discouraged about trying anything else. But I shouldn’t have given up so easily!

How do you give your pets the Bach’s Rescue Remedy cat relaxer?
You do 4 drops at a time, and you can put it in the water, on food, or even on your hand if they like to lick you. (Mine do.) I also would crush up little treats and then put the Remedy on them.
Does Bach’s Rescue Remedy have side effects?
This is the stuff you love to hear… it’s not addictive, and there’s no known side effects at all.
Does Bach’s Rescue Remedy work for cats?
In my experience it definitely does. My cats started to look forward to this as part of a routine. And on a day when I didn’t use it, one of my cats was markedly more frantic than she’d been. I quickly realized the reason why, and gave her some of the Rescue Remedy. I also witnessed how eager my nervous nelly cat would get when she saw the bottle, and knew it was time for “the special treats.” It wasn’t her typical reaction to those treats. I firmly believe it was because of how she felt after having the special remedy on her treat. And if you have a nervous cat like I do, you know this can make a world of difference for all sorts of times…like when you have guests over for Thanksgiving and the cat is hiding upstairs. It’s always good to calm them down!
So, how else could I tell it was working? Well, one some of the days I was administering the Remedy, I could only stop by my place briefly each day. Normally, the cats are then extra reclusive and angry with me, refusing to come say hi. But this time, they’d always greet me. I could also tell that without the Remedy, the cats would sometimes just run to keep from being caught. After the Remedy, I could pet them without them planning to make their escape attempt. It just seemed to visibly calm them down and let them relax and be in the moment. I’d call it magic if I could, really. It’s like I was at Hogwarts and made up this potion!
