ShesSmart.com asked entrants of our recent “Cook or Be Cooked” Wii game giveaway what food they liked to make. We’ve selected some of our favorite suggested recipes that seem easy and delish. We thank you all for your recommendations!

Potatoes! Reader Jennifer from Ohio suggested the recipe Company’s Coming Make-Ahead Potatoes to us. With all of this snow, it seems like a good time for such a indulgent and hot dish. It reminds us of twice-baked potatoes.

Pasta! Kristina of Michigan suggested Pesto Pasta with Chicken.

Meatballs! Waikiki Meatballs was a link given to us from Susan from Minnesota. We bet it’s cold there right now, brrrr. Our little tip for this recipe? Don’t buy a bottle of soy sauce just for this recipe, stock up on a few of those packets when you next get Chinese takeout!

Chicken Breast! Our winner of the Wii game was Lori of Colorado and she submitted a recipe that we liked the sound of, too! (Our winner was chosen randomly, though.)  She wrote, “I make chicken breast with balsamic vinegar and garlic really well! My whole family enjoys it over noodles! It reminds me of a tangy version of chicken marsala.”
