Shop like a celebrity in selecting Bohemiarts handblown glassware

Bohemiarts makes hand-blown stemwart created by artisans in the Czech Republic. They’re completely safe for your beverages (or food, if you want to do a Shrimp Cocktail in a martini glass  type of dealie), lead-free and FDA-approved. And did I happen to mention that they’re gorgeous? Well, I don’t really have to mention anything if you just use your eyes. Lookity-look!

These blown glass items remind me a mixture of stained glass paintings and water color paints.

This richly inspiring mosaic stemware is a wonder in many motifs, embellishing the table with functional glass art. Popular with European royal families for more than 50 years, these magnificent hand-blown pieces were created by master artisans in the Czech Republic where this complex “a la vitrage” method of glass making originated and has been perfected for over a century. Each piece arrives beautifully gift boxed. Hand wash. From Bohemiarts®.

I received a Bohemiarts  Wine Goblet and Martini Glass – both in the Pink City colors that are very, very Sex and the City in feeling. (Because what was Sex and the City if not fabulous, glamorous, girly and more than a  little indulgent in good taste?) Every day is an occasion to use your favorite special things, which is why I love the idea of using these glasses for any time. They’re so gorgeous it makes any little event seem nicer. For instance, I need to drink more water in my life, and when I put it in the Pink City wine goblet  (yes, I break the rules a bit!) I actually drink it – because it feels fancy and special as though I were in a restaurant and not just in my home office, wracking my brain for what specific questions to ask actress Angie Harmon in the next days conference call.

I did a dorky little water experiment so I could report back to you about the size relation of the two different types of glasware. The Martini Glass holds a bit more than the Wine Goblet. Both make me feel very elegant when I hold them, and they have very sturdy, nice stems to wrap your fingers around gracefully. The idea of having a glass that’s easy to hold (and a goblet is so much easier to hold than a normal juice type of glass or cup) is something I see that men pay attention to a lot. Well, my DAD, does. He brews his own beer at some fancy smancy place, and they also get different beer glasses and goblet glasses with certain beers. He loves to bring home different ones, all that have odd beer branding on them (from goats to goblins). As much as I might like the feel of one of those glasses, it’s not exactly my style.

I hope this goes without saying that these would be a great investment piece, look amazing on a dinner table, and also work as a beautiful wedding or housewarming gift. So, bookmark the page if you think you know of some friends ready to tie the knot! Bohemiarts also makes Water Goblets and luxury gift boxes. If you aren’t into pink with the “Pink City”, they also have “Red Rose,” “Success” (blue, yellow, brown), “Rainbosaic,” “Amber Light”, “Royal Night” (opulent black and white), “Sea,” “Ruby Guava,” and Crystal White.

In the Cheers for Charity event,  5% of the wholesale and 10% of the retail proceeds for all Pink City glassware purchased will then be donated to The Orange County affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure program. (And you get free shipping within the U.S.)
