Know When to Fold Jacket- Plantation $39.99
I received the Know When to Fold Jacket to review. It came in “plantation” which is a caramel color. This is a cozy and comfortable fleece and cotton jacket. Special features of the jacket that stand out are the big fold over collar that frames your neck/head (I know that sounds weird, but THINK about it – you want to frame it!), a fabric sash belt and very cool sleeves that remind you of your favorite old sweatshirt. Another word about the collar, though, you don’t have to wear it “up” as you see in the picture. It’s up to your preference.
As you know with jackets, you always want to go up in a size since you’ll be layering it over something else. In this case, I first ordered a medium but it was too snug. Deciding to play it safe, I then asked for it in an XL – which was totally perfect. This is a casual and chic jacket. I especially loved that inside the lining is a floral pattern, and the tag at the back of the neck (on the inside) has a little bow. Perfecto!
You can wear this jacket in fall and winter. I think it would be great to buy, and I’m already naming it as one of the best fall jackets for women: 2011! Downeast Basics has lots of really cool jackets, you know? Well, if you don’t know, I’ll show you some pictures!
