Are you one of the ‘Worst Cooks in America’? Win the Wii Game ‘Cook or be Cooked’!

Are you a good cook or a naughty cook? I’m a bit of both. ;) Either way, you can always improve those cooking skills of yours. That’s where both the new Food Network show Worst Cooks in America and the Food Network wii game Cook or Be Cooked come onto the scene. I’m going to tell you a bit about the show, and also give you a chance to win the game, right here on ShesSmart.com! Smart gals know how to cook…it’s very true.

Twelve of the most hopeless cooks in the country will compete in a high-stakes elimination series in Worst Cooks in America. At stake for the last two standing is the chance to cook for a panel of esteemed culinary critics and win the grand prize of $25,000. This six-week series will put the “recruits” through a culinary boot camp led by two acclaimed chefs: Anne Burrell, host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and Beau MacMillan, executive chef at Elements in Phoenix.

    The best dish I cook is a dessert(according to the hubs who has a serious sweet tooth) a Strawberry Cake. I cant do the recipe because my daughter stole it.lol She was copying it and took it home with her.It her favorite thing I make also.I baked it 27 years ago for her first birthday.

    I make sauteed green beans that always get rave reviews.I don't have a recipe, it's all by taste, but I use soy sauce, chicken broth and green beans and I sautee the green beans in a bit of grapeseed oil then simmer in the broth and soy sauce. Mmm.

    Well, it's actually Cream Cheese Braids however I can't share that recipe… but I also make some really good pumpkin breads and pies (will have those recipes on my site later this week)..     I make homemade mac and cheese. Here is the recipe ( I don't have a blog)
    16 oz box shell noodles
    2 1/2 cups milk
    1 pound velveeta
    8 oz cheddar cheese
    1/2 stick butter
    1 egg
    cook the noodles according to directions. Beat the egg and the milk together. Layer the noodles and cheeses. On the top layer add the butter(cut it up and dot it around the top). Pour the milk and egg mixture in and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
