Best Travel Shirts for Women: Foxcroft Wrinkle Free Denim Tunic Review
Monday, May 21st, 2012
Foxcroft Reviews: Their Denim Tunic is a BUY.
I received the Denim Tunic by Foxcroft and was overjoyed by what a wonderful top it is. They say it’s made of “smooth denim” which I’m not sure how to decode, but the FEEL of it is lightweight and “smooth” and just like denim if it were mixed with silk. The cut of it is generous and you can easily put the sleeves rolled up or not, and did I mention the pockets? Who doesn’t love pockets? These have huge pockets that don’t distract from the shape of the shirt. Because it’s denim, it doesn’t wrinkle. And it’s got enough details that it looks pretty fancy! I dressed mine up with white pants and some contemporary silver earrings that hang down like straight bars. This is perfect to pack up and take somewhere. My Mom borrowed it to go on a trip already. (Sister’s graduation in NY.) We both agree it’s one of the best travel shirts for women that we’ve ever had. Now we just have to agree on joint-custody!
Great for: Spring, Fall and Summer Nights!

Best Non Greasy Hand Lotion Contender: Vaseline Total Moisture Lotion (Reviews)
Wednesday, May 16th, 2012
I’ve got a new lotion recommendation for you gals!
The best lotion for dry skin does two things: absorbs quickly (is non greasy) and truly moisturizing. It’s not easy (being green – or) to find both of these items in one lotion. I recently tried the NEW Vaseline® Total Moisture® lotion and discovered for myself that it does both jobs. Which is wonderful – because I use lotion every single day, many times in the course of just one day! (Who doesn’t?)
There are three types of the Total Moisture lotion:
· Vaseline® Total Moisture® – Clean feeling lotion for healthy soft skin. · Vaseline® Total Moisture® Aloe Fresh – Light feeling lotion for healthy fresh skin. · Vaseline® Total Moisture® Cocoa Radiant™ – Rich feeling lotion for healthy glowing skin.

Nuts.com Review – Healthy Snacking Ideas
Monday, May 7th, 2012
Your new secret weapon for healthy snacking ideas is Nuts.com.
Let’s talk about nuts. I’m nuts, which is probably one of my better qualities. But there’s also Nuts.com. And before you go thinking it’s such a simple-sounding website that it might not even be real… let me fix that thought for you. The site name is simple, but they have branded themselves as an incredibly fun destination to buy ALL SORTS of things. From the pretty blue and orange re-sealable packages to the box (with cartoon drawings) that the items arrive in, everything about the process is fun.
I got to sample 3 items from Nuts.com. I do recommend ordering from this website, but I would only re-order one of the below items.
Dried Fruit Chips Review – These offered several varieties of fruit but I’ll be honest, I could really only taste banana and then “other” which was a sweet mix (which was apples, pineapple, etc.) I loved this, though. It was very healthy and had a great crunch. My only comment against it would be that there was too many banana chips. It’s great for healthy snacking ideas. The packaging was not just cute, but super functional to keep everything fresh! ... Read More
Best Caramel Corn Popcorn and the Best Kettle Corn Brand is All Natural
Sunday, April 29th, 2012
If you’re looking for the best kettle corn brand around, it happens to be (amazingly enough) also the brand that makes the best caramel corn popcorn. They’re both by G.H. Cretors!
I recently had a chance to taste different varieties of G.H. Cretors Popcorn. The Caramel Corn and Caramel Nut Crunch were so good. Not only did I think it was the best I’d ever had, so did my Dad. And he’s not easily impressed. When it came to the Kettle Corn, I found it super sweet and the corn (like for all mixes) is perfectly and fully round and popped.
Oddly, I just didn’t like the cheese corn mix (and therefore I was not a big fan of the Chicago Mix that has the cheese and caramel corn together.) So, I cannot personally recommend that. But I typically only like white cheddar popcorn, anyway. And this was more of a heavy cheddar, I think.
Now that I’ve already told you all about how great some of these flavors are, it’s time to tell you even more about the popcorn. This is all natural popcorn. This is gluten free popcorn. This is GMO free popcorn. This is kosher popcorn!

Stylish iPad 2 Cases for Women and Stylish Rolling Laptop Bags
Monday, April 23rd, 2012
When it comes to stylish ipad (2) cases for women, you definitely might find yourself looking at the ones at Hang Accessories. And while I cannot recommend them, I can tell you my reasons for hesitance and you might still like them. (I also provided some pictures of soem very stylish rolling laptop bags you might like to see.)
I received the Rose Gold Skin iPad 2 Case to review. They also offer this case in a Brown Gold, Black, Black Gold, Purple and Turquoise. The cases all have textured snakeskin on them, which is quite posh. Aside from the look of the case, I also liked that the magnetic closure turns off my iPad instantly, and that there is a way to use the cover as a stand. (It says there are two angles that it folds open to, but I could only figure out one. I’d say you could use it to watch Netflix, but if you were going to be touching the screen it might slide a bit.)
My biggest issue with the case is that the inside cover doesn’t have any padding, and presses the snakeskin pattern against the iPad screen. Now, many cases don’t have inside padding. But I’m a bit of a worrywort, and my iPad is my b ... Read More
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS prom dresses – Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer
Monday, April 9th, 2012
You know your Pretty Little Liars always love to dress up for a great dance. Let’s look at what we’d put them in, using selections from promgirl.net.
The reason why we’re focusing on prom dresses from that site is because we now know how great they are. We had a chance to review this cocktail dress by Clarisse. It comes in white, light pink (coral), or blue. We choose the pink, as it’s perfect for a short, Spring dress. It’s a sale dress, and they have a price match guarantee – which is so nice. It’s such a nice dress because there’s a bit of texture without there being any print. Which means you can pair this with bold accessories. Silhouette wise, this is short and body-conscious. Luckily, there’s a nice lining for the pretty pink dress. The rhinestone pin is removable, so you can use it or not. The dress arrived right on time (fast!), and packaged in plastic and on a hanger. All in all, we are very pleased with our interaction with promgirl.net and would order a dress there again. Their swiftness of service really can’t be beat. And, as we’ve pro ... Read More
Help for Dark Underarms! DOVE Clear Tone Reviews
Wednesday, April 4th, 2012
Our favorite brand with the peaceful dove as a logo has a new product called Dove® Clear Tone Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant. It was created for women to even out skin tone and reduce any dark or red marks on their underarms. It does this with the help of Calendula, Sunflower seed extracts, and unique Dove® moisturizers that help aid your body with its built-in natural skin renewal process.
I wasn’t sure that this was an issue for a lot of people until I went a a’googling around. Apparently plenty of people search for “underarms dark,” and ”underarms dark home remedies.” But you don’t need a home remedy when you have something that will work. And don’t be embarrassed to admit you have any discoloration under your arms, because it can happen from wearing a tight top or a sleeveless shirt where your skin touches itself and has friction.
The clincher: And really, much as we want it smooth, we want it to look good if we’re gonna wear a tank top!
Dove Clear Tone ReviewMy underarms aren’t too dark, but I do deal with this issue in a spot on my face and it drives me CRAZY. Seriously, crazy! And I also crazy moisturize that area all the time. I thi ... Read More
Delicious Different Brownie Types Reviewed
Wednesday, April 4th, 2012
If you crave brownie variety, I just found your heaven. Gourmet Gift Baskets sent along their Brownies Sampler Bakery Gift for me to review and give an honest opinion about for you guys. And…oh my goodness. Seriously? I really, really was impressed.
Aside from me passing along this knowledge, you’re probably interested in the BROWNIE GIVEAWAY that ShesSmart.com is running right now. Go enter!
These are moist, fudgy brownies. With the large assortment, my favorite was definitely the unusual, sweet ones: white chocolate macademia nut, butterscotch (perfect consistency, I must say), cheesecake. (Cheesecake pairs excellently with chocolate, duh!)
The pictures are perfect for showing you exactly how they arrive. Moist in the middle, delicious, crackly layer on top. You’ll smack your lips. Even better, each of these brownie types is packaged in its own little plastic unit. Which means you can so, so easily take one to work or for a school lunch. Heck, if you’re feeling selfless go share one with someone else. And you’ll feel very generous, because these brownies are huge! They’re larger than you’d think to cut for y ... Read More
Ergonomic Grater by SLICE – review
Monday, April 2nd, 2012
I can’t think of any way an ergonomic grater could be better than this Slice one designed by Karim Rashid.
The Slice grater uses ceramic teeth because it’s non-allergenic, chemically neutral, impervious to acid, fat and salt. What does this mean? t won’t rust and it will stay sharp. The only issue I have is that ceramic can break easier than stainless steel. However, this is a cute design and it will easily stand up on your counter without wobbling. So, that problem is fixed basically as soon as it arises in your mind.
The soft handle is perfect to hold as you grate, and it doesn’t slip or budge in your fingers.
It’s different than the graters you have seen with holes, and that was done because this style is easier to clean.
Product features for this ergonomic grater
- Ceramic lasts longer than steel - Stays sharp - Never rusts - Lightweight non-slip finish - Hard-cheese (ergonomic cheese grater), ginger, radish, citrus peel, etc. - Design by Karim Rashid

Ergonomic Pepper and Salt Grinder by SLICE – review
Monday, April 2nd, 2012
I’m a major ergonomic enthusiast, and that’s one of the main reasons I’m so drawn to Slice products. But it’s by no means the only reason.
After having a chance to use the Slice Ceramic Mill, I’m ready to endorse it fully. I opted for the black and white option, so that I could easily tell between pepper (peppercorns) and sea salt. The design is by Karim Rashid.
SLICE Ceramic Mill - Black and White
Shaking out stale flakes of pepper is never good, you have to grind it to get the flavor. So when I say these are ergonomic salt and pepper shakers, it’s only because you might not realize you should be searching for ergonomic salt and pepper grinders.
The look of this grinder is very modern. It’s glossy and mostly white. That’s not entirely the look of my kitchen, but the usefulness outweighs everything. Plus, the more I look at it the cuter it seems. It reminds me of a frog with two big eyes.
