If I was a younger gal, I would freak out over these cute little Taylor Swift dolls. I mean, they sing and they have super cute outfits. My favorite doll is the “Our Song” doll with the blue dress. That’s the concert where John Mayer came out and played with her – I do know that much!

Last year I was dedicated to the cause of finding a humidifier. I have a weird thing where I keep my fan on in my office a lot, even during the winter months. And my skin does suffer for this weird habit. Ergo, I decided everything would be fixed with a humidifier. Well, I AM glad I have it – although I should be using it more often.
What I picked was a cool humidifier type without filters. I thought I was lucking out not having to buy filters all the time, but what I didn’t realize was that I’d still have to clean it every month with bleach and vinegar (yum). So much work!

So, I saw a cool graphic that shows the most popular Christmas toys from 1960 through 2009. That’s 50 years of the most popular Christmas toys! Not only is it interesting to see, especially to note the years I was a child (did I request any of those gifts? I don’t think so…) but I have a challenge for myself that you will get the benefits of! I am going to write two lists here. Kindle Wireless Reading Device (6″ Display, Global Wireless, Latest Generation) @ Amazon $259. The Amazon kindle is great because it’s as thin as a magazine but it can hold 1,5000 books (which is more than my bookcases hold). Apparently the kindle has no glare like most screens have, and it even has a super long battery life. Still, wouldn’t you miss holding the weight of a book? This has to be great for tech people or people who travel a lot.

Jenna Fisher (The Office) is on the cover of Shape magazine tight now. While she has inspiring things to say to the magazine, I was more inspired (or at least, more touched) by what she posted in her official MySpace Blog. (I didn’t even know she had one!) While I’m a huge fan of The Office, I haven’t followed the actresses personal life very closely. It turns out she had fractured her back (in 4 places) in a fall and was not allowed to do any exercise for a long time. Shortly after that she separated from her husband, so naturally she was going through a very difficult emotional time where I’m sure she craved comfort food.
