Celebrities don’t just look great on the red carpet. Their signature style often appears in their “street style” while they’re out and about doing every day things. While some tend to be more miss than hit, most celebs have nailed down their personal style and are great inspiration for fun and new ways to pull together an outfit. With beauty teams, stylists and designers at their fingertips, they generally know what trends are hot. So who better to take a fashion cue from than a few celebs? We’ve got a collection of celeb worthy handbags at price points all of us can afford.
This is a guest post by Sarah Ellis. So enjoy this piece in celebrity handbag style. This is a great celebrity looks for less blog, I was pretty astounded by how spot-on her bag picks were. (And suddenly I’m craving them all, ah!) You can find her author bio at the end of the piece. I’m positive that you’ll want to head on over to her blog – you can help her pick her wedding dress! I voted for the drop waist/mermaid style, but you may feel otherwise inclined. – xo Jessica Rae

So. Target. It’s a place of many wondrous things. And if you take a look at Target even in mid-February you’ll notice they ALREADY have bathing suits and tons of sandals and flip flops. Every year I pick up a new pair of cheap, comfortable sandals for women from Target because they have the SQUISHY FOOT thing. And I mentioned the cheap part, right?
My trick is to find a pair of flip flops that can pass for nice-casual sandals. How do I do this? What you should do is not go to the bins where they have the cheaper flip flops, but to the wall. There’s different brands and different types.
I am a trickster, so I like to find a pair I can pass off as slightly dressy to go to nice restaurants and whatever. I mean, no one is ever looking at your feet that much (or dumb inner linings). I have a great pair of Adidas which I got from Designer Shoe Warehouse for maybe $20 on sale at the end of summer. So the walking-sporty sandals are takin ... Read More
In a late-night Target ambush (when the store is closing in 40 minutes, you must make the tough decision to split from friends and just do a mad dash for what you “need”), I came across the LP Linea Pelle bags. They made me linger. I mean. I like Linea Pelle. But I did not like these bags. And I really wanted to.
So, here’s the thing. They felt like really cheap vinyl. And the material looked cheap. (You know how Heidi Klum and Nina Garcia and even Michael Kors all talk to the designers on Project Runway about choosing material that looks expensive? Yea.) The designs? The designs were killer. I really, realy liked the crossbody handbags that also worked as wristlets. But the material made it look cheesy. Ugh.
The black was all wrong, and the blue was ALMOST okay but was too bright for such bad material. With different material it would have been awesome and I’d be telling you guys how happy I was with my new Winter-to-Spring transition purse. I don’t know. I felt really upset (tragedy, oh!) and then I walked away with some random Target bag because it had a chain link handle and I love those.
Fulfill your dreams of being a ballerina with some high heel ballet shoes. When I look these up online, most of them are really ridiculous toe shoes with heels that look impossible to walk in.
I found these satin heels with bow from Miss Selfridge that are great. (Click Here.)
These are so pretty, but how do you justify spending money on another pair of shoes? Well, you could put these towards a fashionable halloween costume of being a ballerina! But not a cliche one, no no. Pair these with a ruffled tulle skirt a la Carrie Bradshaw and a tiara.

Looking over three MCM handbags for sale we can learn tips of what the designers are doing. These are elements you can look for in any bag, no matter the price tag.
MCM Mini Shoulder Clutch features a detachable shoulder chain. (Buy here.) An adjustable strap is great no matter its material, but it’s always especially fun when it’s made of chain. I’m so in love with them that I’ve done an entire feature on chain strap bags before. (Aw, I stopped using those little check marks in the collages, do you guys miss them or nyah?)
MCM Sportivo Satchel has suede lining, double handles and metal feet. ( ... Read More
