Inside: Votre Vu reviews from an up-close experience with several different products they make.
I was able to try some different products by Votre Vu. This post will focus on some items they do with their Votre Vu makeup and color items. I tried three different items:
ARCH DE TRIUMPHE – Brow Definer – Warm
This is a wonderful product to enhance brows because it is lightweight and water resistant. The sheen mimics natural hair, even. I find this to be a great item, and think a little touch up to the brows is something all women should do to look red carpet ready. It really just helps frame your eyes. I do recommend this product as both efficient and high quality.
BEAUTÉ EN BRONZE – Bronzer Duo – Monaco
I fear I got the wrong color! This bronzer section is matte, which is important to many women who see any shimmer as a far to youthful approach. I’m not sure where I land on the matte/not-matte argument… but I did have a bit of trouble appreciating this bronzer because my color selection was so off. I have fair skin, so one half of the Monaco color was impossible to work with. Any sweep of it on my skin and it looked muddy. I mean, truly awful. The other half of things was a shimmer rose blush, which did work for me. I may try to use the bronzer part of it as an eyeshadow. I do think this is a great product to travel with if you don’t have room for a blush and eyeshadow and powder and foundation… this will work to enhance your face. Currently there are no other color selections to pick from. Currently I can’t recommend the bronzer for fair skinned women.
VU-ON ROUGE – Color Accent for Lips and Face – Ma Cherry
A moisture-intense color for both cheeks and lips, this product is available in three colors. In Boquet Rose this is the perfect warm, creamy color that has given Amy Adams a natural, classic look on the red carpet. What I discovered is that the cool-toned, blue-tinted Ma Cherry is a sheer red that can build up it’s color very gradually and is a perfect compliment for fair skinned women like myself. I seriously, seriously adore this red. This is a red for women who are afraid of red. And you won’t be so afraid of red when you see how great it makes your entire face look. A dab of this on my lips and my entire face looks about 68% more awake, refreshed, and glamorous. It also layers on the cheeks nicely, with great blendability. The texture of this product is very nice, as well. I’d say this is a product I’d recommend to anyone! I really, really love mine and have been reaching for it a lot.

Celebrities who love Votre Vu
Adelle love the Duette Votre Vu hand cream because of the sweet smell of cupcakes. We all love the Adele eye makeup look but how does she take it all off? Well, she also loves the Votre Vu Sweep Eye Make-Up remover because it’s gentle on her fake lashes.
For a nice way to enhance her lips at the 2011 Emmys, Julie Bowen from Modern Family wore Champagne Kisses lip balm under her lip gloss.
For the 2012 Toronto Film Festival, Amy Adams wore Vu-On rouge in Boquet Rose, Beaute en Bronze, and Arch de Triumpe in fair. For her eyes, she’s using the Votre Vu Eiffel Power Mascara and Le Joli Crayon in Aubergine.
