Lauren Conrad has left The Hills and now she’s pursuing her dream of fashion with her LC Lauren Conrad line at Kohl’s. Even when the show was annoying me, I always could find a compliment for Lauren’s style. Those little braids in her hair? Did you never try to replicate those? Come on, now!

Anyway, I decided I’d shop at Kohl’s online and tell you guys what I think is worth buying. It’ll let you see what’s available and what you might want to avoid. My overall review of this line is that it is modern and cute with lots of great basic’s made by a gal who knows simple fashion tricks that work.

The LC Lauren Conrad Hits:

It’s romantic and it reminds me of 40’s fashion. But you probably need to get a strappy camisole to wear under it. Luckily, the LC line offers one in colors that match perfectly.

This dress is also available in a plum color that I like a lot. It’s simple but truly a stylish piece you can use in your wardrobe for laying. It’s stretchy, which means: comfy.

The LC Lauren Conrad Misses:

I just don’t understand the design of this dress. It looks too unflexible and rigid. The neckline with the cap sleeves bother’s me, there would be more shape if there was a V-neck involved.

LC Lauren Conrad Striped Shirt, original $30.00 sale $19.99

The problem is that you need to really style this t-shirt well or it will look as it does right now: frumpy and unflattering. This is a shirt that will probably only do well with the teen-crowd, those whose stomach’s are straight as a board.  Style Tip: The way to style this is by using a fitted jacket or cardigan over it.
