Item reviewed: Vanitymmark Eyebrow Pencil
What IS it? Well, obviously it’s a brow pencil. Features a retractable point that never needs to be sharpened, pencil-to-powder formula, and the ability to create crisp definition while still diffusing the intensity as you choose. This line offers lots of hard-to-find shades and celebrity make-up artist Brett Freedman has recommendations for how to pick the one for you. I found them really helpful.
Brett Freedman has worked with: Candice Accola (The Vampire Diaries), Brittany Snow, Sarah Silverman, Emily Blunt, Reba McIntire…
*Fill in the brows behind the hairs with a brow pencil that matches your eyebrows. To amp upthe arch and shape, fill in just above the brow from front to tail. This thickens the brow andgives a touch of lift.
*Use a small spoolie brush or clean mascara wand to blend and refine the pencil.
*Once your fill-in is complete, take a touch of brow gel and brush hairs up and out.
Pros: Works really well, and the application is so easy. Easily the best eyebrow pencil I’ve ever used. It doesn’t get waxy and melt on your face! There are 7 shades to pick from, which means the odds are good you’ll find the one that matches you. Brett Freedman really knows what he’s doing when it comes to eyebrows.
Cons: Most of us don’t think we need this item, so the price seems especially steep. (But it really does make a difference.)
Buy Recommendation: Yes, I think everyone should touch up their brows if they like makeup.
Odds you’ll use this item daily: You might get lazy on some days, as it’s an extra step to do with your makeup.
