Dr. Hess Udder Ointment Review (It’s A-Maaaa-Zing!)

dr hessThere is very little more appealing to me than taking time out of a day to sit down and pamper myself. I wish I had a full working spa in my house, but aside from not being financially feasible for me, then I’d never leave my house. I sat down to try a bunch of items from the Dr. Hess Udder Ointment line. While I don’t have an udder (I swear!) this stuff was perfect for my skin to make it feel soft and smooth.

The formula for Udder Ointment is completely natural save for a small amount of petroleum, which acts as a way to seal the moisture into the skin and form a barrier. The entire product works so well because one of the ingredients works solely to open up your skins pores. Then, the 13 different skin softeners get to work on your skin,  giving it a full massage from the inside-out.

People are always looking for moisturizers that will actually work and not just “kinda work” (I certainly wouldn’t buy a car that only kinda worked!), so you should check this out if you have trouble finding something to satisfy your skin.

My personal experience with Dr Hess Udder Ointment

Whatever your skin is crying out for, I bet you that Dr. Hess Udder Ointment can meet those needs. You have no idea how spastic I get about my skin – especially my hands, feets (heels!), ankles and elbows. I cannot stand them being rough (scaly, scratchy!), but it always seems to happen. And I really don’t want to take a Ped Egg to my feet – because that’s just like taking a razor and scraping away the skin without giving the skin a solution. Even though I do buff my feet in the shower, I would never not use lotion. But sometimes lotions will feel slimey and they just sit on top of my skin.

Udder Ointment smells a little minty. When I first opened it, I thought maybe it would be too thin of a formula. But I was very wrong. It’s creamy, and very easy to spread. It felt like my elbows absorbed a lot of the lotion right away, and they already felt smoother (most lotions don’t have that effect). I don’t want to waste a molecule of this stuff, and I would seriously recommend this to anyone of ANY age if they have dry skin problems.

My cuticles became instantly softer (a feat!). Most nights I’ll sleep with lotion on my hands and feet but even after all that time, some lotions still won’t make my hands feel as nice as they did after putting the Udder Ointment on them.

So, then I went to my feet. I put some on my cracked heels, the tops of my big toe, and the crease of my second toe that is always stubborn and getting rough. If you use this lotion, you will have ridiculously smooth feet that don’t snag against the carpet or your sheets when you’re barefoot. If you only bought this brand of lotion for the rest of your life, you’d live your life as a woman with happy feet.

This stuff works!

My personal experience with the Dr Hess Udder Stick

Do not be fooled into thinking you only need some sort of lip balm during certain times of the year. When you’re near a lake or fan, or even in air conditioning, you’ll feel your lips be dry and lick them. That causes them to get dryer. (Because it will just keep happening – lick, lick, lick!) Lip balm is important! Especially if it has SPF 15, which the Udder Stick does. It comes in four flavors – original, mint, mango and pomegranate.

Inside the tube (I went for MANGO first) the milky/clear balm didn’t look intimidating or particularly powerful. But it glided onto my lips wonderfully, and the fresh smell of the mango is a really a perfect bonus for summer. Rubbing my lips together several times didn’t make the formula disappear into my lips. I am very pleased with this!

I received samples of these products, but were not paid to review it. I was not compensated in any other way.
