Beija Flor Naturals is a line of vegan & vegetarian body treatments made in California from inspired minds who seek to create primo products. It’s a company that could easily make the list of “Secret Favorite Beauty Lines” for top celebrity’s known for being beauty savvy and nurturing their skin (see: Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rachel Bilson) . Beija Flor Naturals sent us some of their products to review. I was beyond pleased with the results of everything, so let me share with you guys what I tried. And we also have a giveaway of one of the Beija Flor Naturals products for you! Time for organic beauty product reviews!

Agave Aloe Polisher (4oz)

The Agave Aloe Polisher has active ingredients that sound good enough to eat (don’t eat this!) like agave nectar, finely ground raw sugars and Vitamin E. What I loved about this sugar scrub is that you are encouraged to use it for your face and body. It’s gentle enough for your face, but the sugar really does work to remove those pesky dead skin cells. I worked it generously over my feet/ankles/toes and they were left feeling silky and healthy. [ It is one of the Best Body Scrubs I've ever used.]

The company offers Organic Shea Butter either whipped or raw. I used the whipped version, which is like pure, glossy satin in a jar. I see this as the concealer “spot treatment” of lotions. Much like with makeup concealer where you need extra help, this Organic Shea Butter can be targeted for those dreaded areas where dry skin patches stubbornly persist. Cocoa Mango Buttercream (8oz)

Oh, ooooh. The luxurious Cocoa Mango Buttercream! Some of the best healing lotion to soothe your skin and let it know you’ll treat it right. You’ll feel pampered for sure. I was skeptical of the name of the cream, thinking the smell might turn me off. But what has become apparent to my friends is that I am obsessed with the smell of this. And you can smell it a lot since this isn’t just for skin – it also works as a leave-in conditioner. I love the idea of having a little excess lotion on my hands and then running it through my hair. Multi-use items are wonderful. I found that I need to use much less of the product than I thought I did – so it’s a great investment. [ Buttercream lotion ]

Licorice Root Scalp Elixir (4oz)

I’ll admit that I think my scalp is prone to getting dry. And there aren’t a ton of products out there to help your scalp! Enter the Licorice Root Scalp Elixir. Doesn’t it just sound great? A secret elixir made from nature? Well, it’s as great as it sounds. You soothe it onto your scalp after a shower, and massage it in gently. It smells great.  But just use a little bit of it unless you want your hair to be too wet. I like massaging it into my scalp before bed, sleeping on a towel and then waking up with a happy scalp (I can tell it’s happy, yes!) The only problem with the products that you use in the shower is that the labels for this line aren’t waterproof. But if they got those, the prices would go up. And unless you put the bottle under running water, the label is still readable. I have a feeling that scalp treatments are going to become more and more popular. Get on board now and treat your head. [ Scalp Treatment Products are going to become popular, I can tell. ]

I loved all of these products and had a straight-out spa day with them all, feeling very special (and smooooooth!). What’s great is that if you would like to recreate my spa day, it’s easy. Each of these items is inexpensive. For the quality, you’d expect these to be $40.00 and not $12.00.
