Aria Montgomery Style – Purses and Bags
Saturday, December 24th, 2011
I went window shopping at Zappos to find purses that were screaming “Aria would wear me!” I found five different purses that were so Aria Montgomery (Pretty Little Liars) I’d be surprised if we couldn’t find these in her closet already.
Some style tips to consider for Aria Montgomery style in purses or bags is that she keeps things functional for the event she’s at. Smaller clutches are used when it’s a fancy affair. But she’s not afraid of larger bags at school, and she’s not afraid of designer labels or unique looks. In fact, she’d prefer having a purse that no one else has. Look for unusual colors or color combinations (here you’ll see a dotted orange, a nautical stripe piece, a statement bow and a regal berry color.)

How to Stop Procrastinating Right Now – 7 Techniques
Thursday, December 15th, 2011
Being honest with you guys, I have to admit that I procrastinated about writing this piece! Which only goes to prove that I truly do procrastinate on things all the time. It’s a habit in my life and it’s one I’d like to BREAK. So, I turned to to offer of reviewing an e-book on how to stop procrastinating by Trevor Johnson and published by Stonham House Publishing Company.
7 techniques to help you stop procrastinating and get things done:
* How to decide whether to procrastinate * Monitor how you currently spend your time (< be present, be accountable for your minutes!) * Does ‘Just Do It’ actually work? * Why starting with the smallest things first causes you to procrastinate * How to split up stuff into smaller chunks * Do you like rewards or punishments? (< I like both! And honestly, both work to motivate me.) * How to manage your attention span to your advantage * Find out how to stop chasing bright shiny objects all the time * Go public with your agenda (< Probably one that works the best for me)
The introduction reminds you of the reasons w ... Read More
Christmas Gift Basket Ideas for Couples with Lake Champlain Chocolate AND Marich Chocolate Cherries!
Monday, December 12th, 2011
Looking for the perfect gift basket for you and your significant other to cozy up with while you relax? I have a suggestion that I do believe you’ll find works pretty perfectly. I’ll get into what I loved most, and even the one item that I wasn’t a fan of.
So, let’s begin! I had the chance to review the Christmas Gift Basket Classic™ from Gourmet Gift Baskets. It retails for $59.99.
General ImpressionPeople love gift baskets, and this one is no exception because it’s sent in a very nice basket with festive decoration (including a fake red poinsettia flower to top it all off. I let Posie play with it for hours.) Everything is always stacked up so great that this is always an impressive gift to give.
By far the best part of this basket is the Marich chocolate covered cherries. NOM NOM NOM. Delicious. No lying. I’m going to buy some off of Amazon today to include in Christmas presents, I think. I really wish that Gourmet Gift Baskets would do an entire basket devoted to the different Marich products! And then I also wish they’d send me that basket to review. ... Read More

Real Single Girl Problems and Solutions for your Single Girl Survival Kit
Wednesday, December 7th, 2011
The plight of the single girl never ends. Sure, some of the “artists formerly known as single” get married. But for every Carrie Bradshaw that does get married, there’s a new woman coming into her 20′s that realizes being a single girl can sure cause problems.
How can you clean without actually getting your hands dirty, how do you deal with a nosey cashier and how do you get your pets to, essentially, love you more? I’m about to discuss this all with you.
How do I unclog my shower drain without a fuss?Single Girl Problems: My shower drain clogs up once a month because my hair is so long and thick and apparently falling out all the time!
Single Girl Solutions: If you don’t have your Dad around to guilt into cleaning it out, try the Drain Claw (http://www.thedrainclaw.com/) I do not suggest you watch too many Youtube Videos on how it works, because clogged up hair is gross. This is just the most effective and least gros ... Read More

Pinterest Images You’ll Love for Home Decor Inspiration
Saturday, December 3rd, 2011
If you’re using Pinterest(my friend Erin from Australia introduced me to the site just the other day) then you should check out RSH Catalog for home decor images that will make you feel inspired.
One item that I hope you like is the “Moroccan Runner” because I bought it! “Spice up your table with an exotic mix of textures and patterns in rich colors. Florals and golds are entwined on crushed velvet for a captivating look and feel. Hand made. 75% Viscose/25% Nylon. Professionally clean. Imported. 72″l x 14″w.” I actually bought this from a different store, but the price was the same. I planned to put it over my vanity but haven’t yet. Those damn beads on the end make Posie want to play and bite at it all the time. I might use it as my bedroom dresser runner instead, although the one I have right now is something my Mom used when she was my age so I’m a bit attached. (It’s white with embroided flowers and some crochet work.)
