Emily Blunt’s WILD TARGET Clothes

After someone linked me to the YouTube Trailer for the movie “Wild Target” I took right to the clothes that Emily Blunt‘s character wears in the movie. Words to describe her style aesthetic would include: bright, cheeky, strong, eclectic and fun.
I’m interrupting our She’s Smart hiatus to show you these inspirational photos. The outfits tend to mix a busy print (or two) with a strong solid from a primary color. She wears a lot of strong red, blue and yellow. There are elements of style in bows (on the gloves), layered pearls, fringe, draped scarves, berets, black tights, cuff bracelets, studded jackets, and handmade-looking jewelry.
The costume designer for “Wild Target” was Sheena Napier who has worked on many UK based films and TV series like “EastEnders” and the “Miss Marple” mini-series movies.

InStyle pointed out that in one scene the character (photo above) wears a Vivienne Westwood dress and Yaffa Meskell necklace.You can also spot some blue eyeliner that is very funky and fun.

Taylor Swift wore a very pretty sparkly Collette Dinnigan dress at the AMA’s, didn’t you love it? Her hair was super straight and long, working with this ultra “sexy” theme. (She also had brand new bangs.)

Rachel Zoe recently said on an episode of The Rachel Zoe Project, “Nothing looks more chic than when when you wear black with a pop of bright color.” I think that is the exact quote.She said this while at the 2010 Gucci fashion show in Milan, I believe.
Rachel Zoe takes her own fashion advice. She's all in black with a hot pink clutch!

Nina Dobrev Style Guide: Front Zipper Skirt

Nina Dobrev of The Vampire Diaries was recently interviewed (and did a photoshoot) for Saturday Night Magazine. In the above photo, Nina is wearing a front zipper skirt in black from Charlotte Ronson. I found a ton of zippered skirts – all similar. Some are steals for only $20, other are major splurges. I just wanted to show them all off to you guys. I think a front zipper skirt is a majorly fun item to wear this fall. (But I also think that making s’mores in the microwave is fun.)

For photoshoots, there’s always a ton of clothing to pick from. A stylist will help, but usually a celebrity has say in what they end up wearing. So, Javier Cámara posted two pictures of Christina Aguilera in what I think might be a promo for her new perfume (Royal Desire – ack!) I was introduced to the jewelry shop SmoochyAngels and while they seem to specialize in rings (I’m a major fan of this Mother of Pearl Teardrop Ring), I was immediately drawn to The Pearly Queen collection. I’d describe it with these words: Victorian, Princess, Royal, and Mermaid. It’s vintage inspired wedding jewelry that’s got a lovely, slightly modern edge.
I think these would be especially perfect for wedding jewelry. What’s nice is that I think you could easily wear these outside of your wedding day.
