I want to go to the beach like, ASAP. Photo by kewfriend on Flickr.
I have five sandals under 20 to show you. Your mission? Try not to insist upon buying them all. When my sister buys a new pair of shoes (and trust me, she buys a hell of a lot of shoes) I always offer her my insights on them. Here, I do the same thing for you guys.
Orchid Flower Sandal $12 ON SALE. These have a nice shine and they’d look great with a skirt, but they’re also fairly casual. These could be your ‘anywhere, anytime’ sandals.
Heart Sandal $12 ON SALE. I like the natural woven texture because it’s unexpected and very relaxed. They look more expensive than they are. I would believe you bought these at Anthropologie or Urban Outffiters.

Marshall Natural Wedge Slingback $16 ON SALE There are also denim ones (but you can’t wear denim on denim, so you couldn’t wear them with much) and brown ones. I ultimately decided to pick the pink ones to show because they give a really nice pop of color, and if you worry about wearing brown with black (I do, I hate brown and black together) then you’d never have that problem with these. Besides, aren’t these supposed to be FUN, summer sandals? Well, pink is fun.
Stella Gladiator Sandal $22. (ALMOST under $20, give me a break here, these are pretty.) The view from every angle looks cool, even the back. I like that it has a small wedge.
Shelby Gladiator Sandal $19. These can pass for fancy because the polished sandals are luxe-looking. They’re an easy choice to slip on no matter your outfit. I’m sold. Plus, gladiator sandals under 20 dollars are hard to find!

OOOO, I love all of those shoes, but there's something very sexy/ladylike about the Heart Sandal. I might have to pick it up. I love Payless. I also really like these sling backs. Meow…. slingbacks

The Kelly Kitten Heel Slingback is so fun! And it's 13 bucks only! Kinda like the modern equivalent of the jelly shoes! I love how Payless always delivers cute stuff.
