Review Spotlight: Nicholas Lane Jewelry
Currie Kilpatrick Boyd has a wonderful name and an equally wonderful eye for elegant jewelry. In my estimation, her handcrafted jewelry line, Nicholas Lane, has an unquestionable appeal. I feel that it’s both lively and dignified – not an easy feat!
I was able to get a close-up look at one of her most popular items, the Gold “Get Wired” Earrings. With intricate hand-wired wrapping inside of a chosen form, these earrings resemble a web. Available in oval, square or rectangle – you may wish to indulge in more than one shape.
I’d been concerned that such delicate jewelry might be equally as fragile, but the wire-work has a pronounced sturdiness to it. I wouldn’t throw these in the bottom of your purse- but I wouldn’t throw any jewelry into the bottom of a purse.
A great swap-in for your everyday gold hoops, these are incredibly lightweight earrings, which is always a major, major plus in my book.
The earrings come with form-fitting, tapered rubber stoppers that are a step up from the average ones you see everywhere else. The packaging from Nicholas Lane is a direct reflection of their jewelry – simple but pristine. A white box with their blue and brown logo carries your jewelry on soft bedding and a crisp, folded tissue paper wrapping.
Currie Boyd lives in Charleston, South Carolina (I know – I’m jealous, too!) but you can find her jewelry at her Official Nicholas Lane website, the Nicholas Lane Etsy Shop or at select boutiques.

Nicholas Lane has earrings, necklaces, bracelets and custom wedding accessories – which all overwhelmingly perfect for a seaside/beach wedding.
Disclaimer: As noted, I received a pair of earrings from Nicholas Lane to review. My opinion was not influenced in any other way.
