MMS Design Studio Bags: Why I Love(d) Mine (Update: Hinges Break a LOT)
I took a trip to Marshalls last week and picked up a perfect, perfect bag. It’s a MMS Design Studio bag. The retail cost was $55.00 and i got it for just $29.99.
EDIT: So, the hinges on this bag have broken TWICE. This speaks, to me, of shotty workmanship and I don’t think I’d buy another MMS Design Studio Bag again.
Why I love this bag is because it’s not overly big, but it fits nicely over my shoulder and stays there with a sturdy (and smart) double strap. The zipper pulls are large, flat and silver (aka stylish), and the pockets are lined in a sweet black and white print. The colors of the leather are also deeply and richly hued. It feels absolutely sturdy and looks fashionable, and there’s nothing I don’t like about it. I suspect the brand does all sorts of great stuff. Have you seen other MMS bags? I haven’t seen a ton, actually. But I hope to see more in the future.
I wouldn’t have been surprised if the retail price had said it was more like $70.00. But for the price of a bag you could get at Target (and I don’t knock Target as a whole, except their bags are awfully pretty flimsy) I got one that had both the look and feel up a much more expensive bag from a department store. MMS label even has a fun logo with the scrollwork stuff. All in all: A+ until further notice.

mms design studio bags - yes, I typed the wrong blog on here, oops!
Unfortunately I can only seem to find one of the MMS Design Studio Bags for sale online. I’m not even sure how well I love it. It’s a tad long (horizontally), right? But it’s interesting, at least. And not all purses have that going for them.
