sexy BUTTERFLY TATTOO thigh-high socks DEEP MOCHA
I have never wanted a tattoo on myself for reals. But fake tattoos aka temporary tattoos have always caught my eye. It’s as though any day can be Halloween and you can be someone else, in some small way. With tattoo’s you can actually take fashion to an entirely new level. You may have heard that Chanel has temporary face tattoo’s now – but they’re expensive and…for your face? Weird. But what about leg tattoo’s? They go under the name “tattoo tights” or “tattoo socks”.
Psst! Hiya! If you’re new to the site, make sure to check out our review and giveaway section because we have several AMAZING giveaway’s each month!
They’re so much less painful and costly than the real thing. And since I hate pain, this is the way to go. So tattoo tights or fake tattoos are what I’d pick.

GIVEAWAY: Celeb Favorite Line ‘Dog is Good’ Gift Card
Sunday, February 21st, 2010
Tee: Dog is Good® Signature Twofer (long sleeve)
Have you heard of Dog is Good? It’s an online shop that sells all sorts of clothing items and products that embrace two very important things: a love of dogs, and a love of being stylish. Unlike that movie “Must Love Dogs” with (dreaaaamy) John Cusack, I really love it!
"It's All Fun and Games Until Someone Ends up in a Cone" Unisex shirt
And I’m in very good company. Dog is Good merch (that’s lingo for Merchandise, I picked that up on the streets!) was included in the 2008 Emmy Award Gift Baskets. So, you might have seen DIG T-shirts on the likes of Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Kristin Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies), Kel ... Read More
Dress like Jem in a Modern Way (Truly Outrageous?!)
Saturday, February 20th, 2010
If you’re a child of the 80′s, then you MUST know who Jem is! (Basically the Hannah Montana of her time, only in cartoon form.) I had a Jem doll and that doll was amazing – especially since her earrings LIT UP. I remember being really excited about that, mock not! Anyway. In a continuation of a them of using cartoons as fashion inspiration, I thought of Jem. While she actually wore a LOT of different outfits on the show (there is an entire website dedicated to the cartoon wardrobe for Jem) her iconic outfit was the pink dress, fringed belt and pink shoe ensemble. Purple eyeshadow and star-shaped earrings helped make it extra fabulous. So, how do we take Jem, a childhood idol, and put it into a modern interpretation for today? Because, I’m sure you could find exact replicas of her outfit somewhere for Halloween, but this isn’t about Halloween costumes. This is about clothing that represents Jem. Which mean it’s gotta be about fun. The most kick ass fun stuff EVAR.
Jem’s Fashion Do’s:
Never shy away from polka-dots. They aren’t scary. Purples, pinks and aqua blues are your go-to colors. Fishnets! Colored belts of ever ... Read More
You DESERVE a Silk Robe, You Know You Do
Friday, February 19th, 2010
If you ever wondered where Belle on Secret Diary of a Call Girl buys her fabulous attire – the likes of which go beyond what Victoria’s Secret makes – I think I may have found a couple of the shops. Faire Frou Frou has “intimate apparel and indulgences” all with a feminine and flirty flair (there is also the: Faire Frou Frou blog), and Madame V is a UK store that has luxury collections that include “Femme Fatale” and “Viva”. It’s all very luxe.
I really love the “Crush” Kimono by Fleur of England, but it’s $325.00 which is above our ShesSmart.com price range of items under $100 (not to mention my personal price range). But the idea of a silk robe doesn’t have to be lost on us. We’ve mentioned silk robes before, because they evoke a wonderful feeling of being a starlet, perched ... Read More
Steal this British Beauty’s DOCTOR WHO style: Cowgirl Boots
Thursday, February 18th, 2010
Digging the boots on Doctor Who’s new companion as featured in the new DW promo poster? Me too. Even as winter fades (and I silently cheer), we don’t have to give up all of our boots. After all, you can’t just kill a boot fetish like *snap* that! Cowgirl boots are fun for Spring. Pair them with a jean skirt, or a pretty embroidered sun dress. You can pull them out again in the Fall. And because they aren’t strictly a one season trend, I think they’re a great investment. Which means you MIGHT want to invest in a pair that’s expensive enough that you know it’ll last. But if the boots seem like more of a whim, go for the least expensive ones.
The new Doctor Who companion is Karen Gillan, and her name on the show is Amy Pond. Technically I’ve seen her on the show before, as she was in the episode “The Fires of Pompeii” (an AMAZING episode) as “Soothsayer” but she wasn’t a crucial character, and I’m not even sure if we saw her face. Anyway, she’s back as a NEW character. It’s difficult for me to look at her hair and not want to dye mine red like hers. Why can’t I be a ginger, too? ... Read More
Steal her Style: Evangeline Lilly is LOST Lovely
Wednesday, February 17th, 2010
Evangeline Lilly plays the tough-as- Dolly-Parton’s-Nails Kate Austin on Lost, and for a premiere party (aka the LOST Sunset on the Beach premiere screening in Honolulu, Hawaii) she wore an outfit that I think would be perfect for casual Spring/Summer weddings. Now, part of me thinks this is a halter jumpsuit, which — nonononono. So, pretend those aren’t pants, just a long dress.
What are the elements? A pretty dress in a breezy fabric, a long necklace, and wooden sandals with maybe a little bit of shine. Keep your makeup soft – just some brown eyeshadow and a bit of blush, maybe some clear/pinky gloss.

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010
What you’re about to embark on is a read of an interview I did with Anna-Karin, a Swedish jewelry maker. You shooould recall that I recently reviewed a few pieces of her jewelry. And I BET you recall that there will be a very generous gift card giveaway for her shop! But that’s coming up a little bit later. For now I want you to focus on what she had to say, because this cheerful artist is as entertaining as she is talented.I would like to move to Sweden and have her mentor me in jewelry-making and the general business of “life”.

Project Runway Loves AQUA for Heidi Klum AND You
Monday, February 15th, 2010
I believe it was Nina Garcia in the most recent episode of Project Runway who raved about how if Spring looks like Anthony William’s aqua dress, then she’s ready for it. His winning dress design will be seen on Project Runway host Heidi Klum on the COVER of April’s Marie Claire. Kudos to Anthony! He’s very charming and sweet. But if you can’t afford to have a designer dress made for you, but STILL think aqua is the perfect spring/summer color to embrace then I’ve got you covered in the “stylish but firmly under $100″ category.
Billie Piper Fashion Secret | Women’s Flower Headbands
Sunday, February 14th, 2010
In the season 1 episode of Secret Diary of a Callgirl season 3, Hannah wore a very vibrant flower headband. You’d be hard-pressed to find anything more perfect for Spring than a floral headband. So if you’re planning to indulge in some “gardening” for your Spring wardrobe, I’ve provided a few suggestions below. Also included are a selection of flower earrings, if you aren’t into accessorizing your hair.
Everything is super affordable, well below the $100 mark. In fact, everything is well below the $50 mark! Which means that if you find yourself loving the style, you might invest in more than one flower headband. It’s not a ... Read More
